Jackson: 2.5 years old



... what happens sometimes when I ask Jackson to say, "cheese!!"...

 At 2.5 years old...

• Even though you definitely have your terrible 2 year old moments and can test mom and dad's patience like no one else can, you have a heart of gold and with one "big" hug can melt our frustrations away.
• Your favorite foods are: pasta (any and all kinds) with butter and salt or parm cheese (absolutely no sauce), rice (usually brown rice), broccoli, carrots with ranch dressing, bread (just like your mom!), fruit, cheese and of course, any sweets. You will only eat meat if it's chicken nuggets from Mcdonalds or mandarin chicken off of dad's panda express (very healthy).
• You absolutely LOVE anything to do with sports, but especially BASEBALL.
• Your favorite movies right now: the natural, sandlot, the rookie (the baseball playing parts... you also know when to turn the volume down when the kids are speaking nicely), ratatouille, little rascals, toy story 3.
• Your favorite things to do: anything with daddy, going to baseball games, going to the park, playing in the sand, playing baseball (of course), you can always be found with daddy's glove on and a ball, you also love the library and "returning" the books and storytime, doing anything YOURSELF.
• You are a daddy's boy almost all the time... unless you are sick or hurt then you usually want mom. You will copy everything daddy does and says... i.e. if he turns his hat backwards, 2 seconds later you will have your hat backwards too!
• You are ALL boy.
• You will copy everything people say.
• You are going through quite a defiant stage right now and want to be mr. independent.
• You can be very social at times... and also VERY shy at other times (you will look down and pretend the person talking to you isn't there).
• You absolutely love your baby sister (you went through a period of jealousy, but have gotten over it and are back to giving her LOTS of love). You often say, "I love you baby sister," "I love you, YAYA!" (what you call her since you can't quite say Olivia), "I'm right here, sweetie, I'm right here" (when she's crying... what you've heard mom say to both of you), "HI! HI! HI YAYA!" (you get right up in her face and wave frantically), "TICKLE TICKLE!!!" (while you attempt to tickle her... sometimes on her face (she's not usually too thrilled about that one).
• You love taking on and off your velcro sandals.
• You love both sets of grandparents. You have a special relationship with your grandmas, but when your grandpa's are around, it's all about them and being silly and having fun (your definitely a "guys guy" right now.
• You have the biggest, beautiful brown eyes and people comment on them often.
• You give the BEST hugs and kisses.
• You make mom and dad laugh every. day. and we love you SO much!
