Rough Couple of Days...

But still S M I L I N G!
As you can see... Jackson has a cast on left arm:(. How you ask? He fell off the side of the couch. Mark was blocking him from going off the front of the couch and instead Jackson decided to take a dive off the side. That's Jackson for you, our little dare devil. It quickly became apparent that every time he tried to crawl it was painful for him. The doctor initially said he would be surprised if he fractured his arm since babies have so much cartilage, but obviously he must have taken the brunt of the fall on his arm :(. Poor little guy.
Oh, and as if that wasn't bad enough the day before he grabbed my curling iron off the counter and burned his hand... the same hand that now has a cast over it. It's been one of those weeks... one of those... I feel like the worst parent EVER weeks!

Jackson with his new beanie on! Isn't he adorable?

After his bath... his bath isn't nearly as enjoyable for him now since he has to wear a plastic bag over his arm and we have to hold his arm up the entire time.
3 weeks and counting (and hopefully the cast will come OFF)!

Sorry to hear he broke his arm, that's terrible. We hope he is ok. Good luck and hope mommy and daddy are ok too. The little guy probably feels better then you two do.

Poor guy! At least their bones mend fast when they're young, right? Let us know if you guys need anything!

At least it will give you a good story to tell about his childhood when he gets older! He'll love to hear it :)

You are one busy mommy! Hopefully his cast can come off soon. What a cute little boy. Do you have any fun Christmas plans?

Oh no! Poor Jackson. A cast is no fun when you can't show it off to your tough friends or even talk to tell the story. I am so impressed with your blogging Shauna! Maybe someday I will catch up. These days I am in survival mode - you remember - where every spare moment you have to decide if you'd rather have sleep or a moment to yourself. . .and then you wake up to crying again!

That cast is so sad :( Boy do we know how that feels, but it's amazing how well little kids do even with broken bones!
