Olivia: 5 months

A common look of Olivia's lately... tongue out and fingers in mouth

At 5 months:

  • You already get separation anxiety if you can't see mom or dad near by (particularly when you are tired/hungry (then you just want mom). *This really started at almost 4 months*
  • You are SO aware of everything that is going on around you.
  • You love to play with toys and reach for everything.
  • You reach for us when you want us to notice you/hold you.
  • You touch our faces when we're holding and talking to you. I makes mom and dad's melt.
  • You are quick to smile. You also love to hear your voice and scream/squeal when talking to people.
  • You have eyes for your brother. Your eyes follow him everywhere he darts to and I have a feeling when you are able to crawl, you'll be his shadow. He can make you smile and laugh and you are always glad to see him (even if he randomly takes his bursts of frustration/occasional jealousy out on you... your love for him holds strong).
  • You are an expert roller and will roll to wherever/whatever you want to get to.
  • You stick out your tongue and suck on your fingers often (Jackson is always saying "YA YA don't eat your hands!" and he takes your hands out of your mouth. You don't like this.).
  • Everything goes into your mouth.
  • You're not a fan of getting undressed/dressed... you get very frustrated and will jerk back as soon as a shirt goes over your head (whether coming on or off).
  • You are the most laid back, easiest baby.
  • You are mostly called Olivia, but also Liv, Livy.
  • You bring lots of JOY into our home.

I LOVE those pictures!!! Especially the first one, she is so pretty. She is growing too fast, but how fun that your two kiddos can start to play together now. 2 is definately better than one!
