Jackson's 4 Month Stats

Our little guy is growing fast! Here are his stats at his last doctors appointment:

Weight: 13 pounds 10 ounces- 25%

Height: 25.5 inches- 75%

Head Circumference: 16.8 inches- 50%

Jackson's personality is really starting to come out. He's a funny, intense little guy. You wouldn't call him a super smiley baby (that's not to say he doesn't smile often), but he loves to watch... he's a thinker. Everyone always comments on how alert and "mature" he seems.

He can roll over from his back to his stomach like a pro now... however, still doesn't always know how to roll over from his stomach to his back so can get frustrated... it starts with grunts, to screams, till finally he starts crying (we try not to let it get to that point, but we're trying to get him to learn how to!;). He has very strong legs and can stand and hold up his head very well. If you hold something out to him, he'll grab it. He has become very aware and fascinated by his hands. He also LOVES hearing his voice- whether babbling or recently he has become very fond of screaming (which is always lovely to hear:))

We've tried rice cereal a couple of times just for fun... I don't think he hates it, but he definitely doesn't love it... I don't think he's quite sure what to think about it.

Mark does this thing with him where he'll say "You're Crazy" in a weird, crazy voice and Jackson always at the very least gives a smile and usually starts laughing over and over again. It's really funny to watch.

He has also learned how to sleep MUCH better. Although he isn't consistent at it yet he has gone up to 10 hours one night (although he can also revert back to 3 hours... but we aren't complaining and will take what we can get!). We are absolutely loving that he actually goes "to bed" now at around 7 or 8 so we can have US time.

That's Jackson in a nutshell at 4 months! We are enjoying every minute with him- watching him grow so quickly is amazing!

It sounds like he's a little person now, and I wish I could see him while he's in this stage. 4-6 months is such a fun stage to watch and enjoy, so live it up while he's in it. It looks like he will be very tall...maybe basketball will be his thing...not baseball! (I'm just trying to give a Mark a hard time) I also love the picture of him in your header, it's too cute!
